football registration

Registration for our program offers many benefits for young players, including a free skills camp. You can find the camp schedule on the DCAJL calendar. In addition, players will receive over 150 hours of instruction from screened, trained, and certified coaches. We also offer concussion baseline testing and tracking, professional game film, and Hudl study experience for older divisions. During the regular season, players will participate in competitive games, and we ensure minimum play requirements (PAR). Our staff is certified in first aid and CPR, and we have EMTs available for all games.

DCAJL provides the necessary equipment for players, including game-day jerseys and pants (home and away), Jr. Lions practice pants, jerseys, T-shirts, shorts, and game socks. However, players must provide their cleats and mouthguards.

Players are allowed to use their helmets instead of the ones provided by DCAJL. However, California law requires an annual NOSCAE helmet certification before a player can participate in sanctioned events. Personal helmets must match the color specifications of the team and be painted by a certified company before the start of the season. If you have any questions or need personal helmet approvals, please leave a message on the Contact Us page.
